Roya Khosravi-Far, Ph.D., PLD, InnoTech, co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer is passionate about translating bench-side discoveries to bed-side realities. She has led successful translational programs in research, development, and translation efforts over the last 30 years in both academia and industry. She received her [Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and carried out her Postdoctoral Fellowship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cancer Immunology. She was a Professor of Pathology at Harvard Medical School (17 years). She has served as VP of R&D at ZioPharm and President and CTO at Accurome Health. She has certificates in Translational Medicine from Harvard Medical School, Biopharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs from Northeastern University and Program in Leadership Development from Harvard Business School.
Dr. Khosravi-Far is leading the research and development team working to validate and optimize the synthetic molecular recognition biosensors and electrochemical detectors in vitro and in clinical specimens. She will work with in-house, partner, and consulting groups to align the development of RecognizeTM prototype. She has been the PI and awardee of many NCI, NHLBI, DOD, ACS, and others; co-authored seventy-eight publications in peer-reviewed journals, co-edited three books, and has two issued patents and a provisional patent related to SARS-CoV-2 surveillance. She is the PI of a RADx-rad award from NIH that has been approved for the development of our COVID test in partnership with MIT.
Richard DeVito, M.S., co-founder, and Principal Engineer, received his M.S. in Physics from Syracuse University. He brings over 30 years of product engineering and manufacturing with expertise in photolithography, plasma etching and surface activation, deep reactive ion etching, MEMS and PDMS microfluidics, and all microfabrication unit processes. He has been leading the design and development of chips and devices for various industries, including large fortune 500 as well as small start-up companies, including more recently at MKS for manufacturing COVID products.
Reza Mollaaghababa, Ph.D., J.D., co-founder, Device Engineer and Intellectual Property Manager has a Ph.D. in Physics from Harvard University and a J.D. from Suffolk University. He is a serial entrepreneur with an interest in medical devices. He brings in over 30 years of experience in microfluidics and electronics as well as in strategic intellectual property planning, including preparation and prosecution of patent and trademark applications and preparation of patentability, infringement, validity, and clearance opinions. He manages intellectual property strategy, licensing as well as formation and management of intellectual property portfolios at InnoTech Precision Medicine.
